Terra King is a writer, editor, and artist whose work spans writing, film photography, video, and audio. Her interdisciplinary perspective is informed through experiences living across the US and in Brazil, and global travel.
She collaborates with authors, publishers, and businesses to create the artifacts that set their ideas free.
Her editorial portfolio includes over 60 books, 350 articles, and dozens of educational courses, handbooks, and websites.
Terra mainly works as a writing coach and book editor. Other focuses include film photography, producing arts-and-culture articles, and directing 'AI Overload,' a short documentary on rural lifestyles and livelihoods in Eastern Oregon.
She holds a master's degree from Emerson College in Journalism, Media, and Innovation, and a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in Health, Technology, and Modernity, with a minor in Luso-Brazilian Literature.
Terra is a member of professional associations like ACES: The Society for Editing; The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists; and Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE). She also holds multiple Poynter ACES editing certificates.
